Rutile quartz is also really fun to work with. The personality of the quartz changes depending what color the rutile is inside the quartz. Black rutile is just gorgeous because it gives the highest level of contrast. Streaks of black in all directions inside a droplet give an ultra modern look and reminds me of the frozen ground during winter. Since the pattern of the rutile is completely random, each stone is like a snowflake, with no other exactly like it. Only one available.
